AN INTEGRATED APPROACH TO THE REHABILITATION OF NEUROLOGICAL PATIENTS

   Members of the Association of Neurologists of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Department of Nervous Diseases of the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov, in the year of its 90th anniversary, continue a series of educational events for practical healthcare dedicated to the 135th anniversary of S.D. Asfendiyarov and the 120th anniversary of Professor M.Kh. Farizov.

LUPUS FORUM KAZAKHSTAN

   November 23, 2024 Almaty hosted Lupus Forum Kazakhstan, in which members of the Association of Neurologists of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Department of Nervous Diseases took an active part. The forum dedicated to systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) brought together leading specialists in the field of rheumatology, nephrology, neurology and other related disciplines.

NEUROLOGICAL READINGS IN PERM

   From November 21 to 23, the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Neurological readings in Perm" was held, dedicated to the 155th anniversary of the birth of Professor V. P. Pervushin. The opening of the conference was marked by welcoming words of the Minister of Health A.V. Kruten, Rector of PSMU A. S. Blagonravov, Deputy Chairman of the All-Russian Society of Neurologists M. Y. Martynov.

NEUROMYELITIS OPTICA SPECTRUM DISORDER : DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT

    On November 19, 2024, members of the Association of Neurologists of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Department of Nervous Diseases of KazNMU named after S. D. Asfendiyarov held a round table on the topic "Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder : diagnosis and treatment" in the City Clinical Hospital No. 7 in Almaty, dedicated to the 135th anniversary of S. D. Asfendiyarov and the 120th anniversary of Professor M. Kh.Farizov.

IMPLEMENTATION OF THE CASCADE METHOD OF TRAINING PROFILE SPECIALISTS BY THE DEPARTMENT OF NERVOUS DISEASES

The Department of Nervous Diseases of KazNMU named after S. D. Asfendiyarov in the year of its 90th anniversary prepared proposals for cascade training of profile regional specialists in hereditary, autoimmune, orphan neuromuscular diseases and started implementing this program in June of this year

GENERALIZED MYASTHENIA GRAVIS: DIAGNOSIS, TREATMENT

   On November 12, 2024, the Department of Nervous Diseases of  KazNMU named after S. D. Asfendiyarov held a round table "Generalized Myasthenia Gravis: diagnosis, treatment" dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Professor M. Kh.Farizov at the City Clinical Hospital №7 in Almaty.
